I have, 3 years ago. I don’t know how I was able to hold back the
tears as I looked in the mirror at the final result. Thick dark healthy hair does not and never will suit a mullet, a
razor and short sides. It was 12 long months before I began to feel feminine
again. Daily rituals of bobby pins, a tiny weird ponytail and lots of coffee before i could leave the house. I'm sure people must have thought i was trying to look cool.
Now when I go to the hairdresser I take a list of what I don’t want as
well as what I do want (as this is one experience I'd rather not repeat). Somehow many
words still manage to get lost in translation or there must be a new definition of 1 inch!
Suzie Q you’re amazing but I’m not stumblin in anywhere
with a mullet ever again!
Glad I discovered this blog, I can relate to many of your stories, and yes I have been given a mullet before when all I wanted was a trim!
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous and welcome! Hope that mullet has well and truly grown out!
